Privacy Policy

1. Operator
The personal data operator is Sole Proprietor "ATTA" (Azat Amirgaliuly Omirgali, IIN 920725301448), website scholary.kz. Processing is carried out in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Personal Data and Its Protection" No. 94-V of 21 May 2013.
2. What data we collect
— Contact details: name, phone / WhatsApp number, email.
— Questionnaire data: level and year of entry, average grade range, type of educational institution, language certificate status, field of study, achievements, the family's budget guidelines, priorities, city, document readiness and other answers you give voluntarily.
— Technical data: cookies, IP address, referral source (utm tags), site usage events, as well as an anonymised record of actions in the interface (pointer movements, clicks, scrolling) by means of Yandex.Metrica — without the contents of fields containing your personal data.
We do not collect or store bank card payment data — it is processed by the payment provider TipTop Pay Kazakhstan LLP (PCI DSS standard).
3. Why we process it
— generating the personal report and providing paid services (performance of the offer contract);
— delivering the report and service messages to WhatsApp and email;
— responding to enquiries;
— with your separate consent — informing you about programme deadlines and Scholary services;
— analytics and service improvement, as well as aggregated industry statistics — in anonymised form only, without the name and contacts by which you can be identified.
4. Who the data is shared with
Only with technical contractors to the extent necessary to provide the service: the payment provider, email and WhatsApp messaging services, hosting and the cloud database; and with state authorities in cases expressly provided for by law. We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Only anonymised aggregated statistics that do not allow a specific person to be identified may be shared with universities and partners.
We use the following services and share a strictly limited amount of data with them:
- Supabase (cloud database) — questionnaire, account, dashboard documents.
- Anthropic (Claude) — the text of a document or motivation letter is sent only at the moment you click "Review with AI" yourself, solely for that check. The model is not trained on your documents.
- Resend — sending emails.
- GREEN-API — sending WhatsApp messages.
- Sentry — technical browser error reports. Personal data and field contents are not sent there.
- PostHog — anonymised product analytics: which screens are opened and where people stop. Form autocapture and screen recording are disabled; name, phone and email do not reach the analytics.
- Yandex.Metrica (Yandex LLC, Russian Federation) — web analytics: referral sources, search queries, click map, goal completion. Webvisor is enabled: it records pointer movements, clicks, scrolling and page changes in your browser so that we can see where people stumble in the interface. Input fields with name, phone, email and password are marked with Metrica's technical tags, so their contents are not saved in the recording and are not shown to us. Recordings are stored on Yandex's side under its terms; you can opt out of recording by enabling Do Not Track in your browser or by blocking the domain mc.yandex.ru.
- TipTop Pay — payment acceptance. Bank card data is processed by the payment provider; we do not see or store it.
5. Storage and protection
Data is stored until the purposes of processing are achieved or consent is withdrawn. Access to data is restricted; transfers are made over secure channels (HTTPS).
6. Your rights
You have the right to know what data is processed, to request its correction, blocking or deletion, and to withdraw consent. Send requests to azattanu@gmail.com or WhatsApp +7 702 466 68 52. We delete data within 30 days, except for information we are required to keep by law (for example, payment documents).
7. Minors
If you are under 18, the questionnaire and payment are confirmed by your legal representative.
8. Cookie
The website uses cookies and the browser's local storage for the quiz to work and for anonymised analytics. Product analytics (PostHog) stores an identifier only in the browser's local storage and sets no cookies. Yandex.Metrica sets its own cookies to distinguish visitors and to run Webvisor. You can clear the storage and disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may then not work correctly.
